Facilitated three-part series of writing and communications workshops and oversaw video production for project with the Detroit Phoenix Center that supported youth in crafting advocacy statements on issues they saw impacting their communities.

Communications Strategy: Understanding Communities of Deep Disadvantage

Collaborated with Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to release the Index of Deep Disadvantage and “Stories from the Field” from University of Michigan and Princeton researchers.

Communications Strategy: Educational Implications of Homelessness & Housing Instability in Detroit

Developed and implemented a communications strategy to share findings from a multi-year University of Michigan research project on student homelessness.

Helped develop and place op-eds in The Hill, Detroit Free Press, Blavity, and other publications.

Virtual Event Planning

Helped plan and produce a virtual conference in June 2020 that brought together hundreds of journalists and academics from across the country.
